Museum Adventure Pass
The Museum Adventure Pass program provides special offers and discounts to unique cultural destinations throughout the Chicago area. Visit your local library to ask about pass availability. You will need a library card to receive passes.

New Moms scholarships are available for Morning Parent Meet-Up on Mondays & Thursdays from 8:30 am – 11:30 am. Park District of Oak Park
Park District of Oak Park scholarships are available to Oak Park residents of any age and can be applied toward any program or passes available through the Park District.

River Forest Township
River Forest Township has scholarships available for children 5-17 living in River Forest with demonstrated financial need. Scholarships can be applied towards after-school recreational, educational, sports and arts-related programs in River Forest. Scholarships may be available to children aged 3-4 on an exception basis.

West Cook YMCA offers membership scholarships. Scholarship amounts vary by need and are awarded first-come-first-served, based on the availability of funding. Wonder Works Children’s Museum
Wonder Works Children’s Museum is a Museums for All partner and gives $3 admission per person for Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT, LINK) or WIC cardholders. Visit more than once and you will receive a free family membership for the entire year.

Youth Engagement Scholarship (YES)
Youth Engagement Scholarships (YES) provide Oak Park and River Forest children 18 and under in need of financial resources to participate in enrichment programming. YES scholarships are provided through partner organizations: Intuit Dance, Magical Minds Studio, Oak Park Art League, Oak Park Tennis Center, Park District of Oak Park, River Forest Park District, River Forest Community Center, School of Rock, and West Cook YMCA. Families need to ask for this scholarship at the partner organizations and must meet eligibility requirements.
Eligibility requirements include: Youth and children 18 and under, and residents in Oak Park and River Forest, and household income at 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), or qualify for free and reduced lunch.

Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)
The Illinois Child Care Assistance Program makes it possible for families who qualify to receive financial assistance in paying for child care. Parents must meet the State of Illinois’ income and family size guidelines.
Illinois Action for Children can help families apply for CCAP.
Here is a list of centers in Oak Park and River Forest who accept CCAP payments. Some centers will also help you complete the CCAP application.

First United Church Nursery School
First United Church Nursery School offers a tuition assistance fund. Applications for assistance may be obtained from the school director and may be requested on the registration form.
