ICAAP ACEs Part 2: You Don’t Have to be a Therapist to be Therapeutic
Welcome to the fourth workshop in the 2016-2017 Intervention Specific Training series.

This is the second, in a 2-part series. [Please note date change from April 11.]

During this workshop, Juanona Brewster, MDiv, MTS, MJ (ICAAP Senior Director, Child Development Initiatives) and Elise Groenewegen (Manager, Child Development Initiatives) will provide insights into what you as an early childhood professional can do to build supportive, healing, and nurturing environments for children and families, understanding that risk factors for ACEs and trauma, and toxic stress are not predictive factors, because of protective (resilience-building) factors

This training is open to early childhood, community service, and medical providers in Oak Park or River Forest.
