Starting April 12, all Illinois residents who are 16 and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Don’t expect to pick and choose which vaccine you would prefer to get. The best vaccine to get is the first one available to you. Together we can protect ourselves, protect our families, and protect Oak Park.
For Oak Park Residents, there are four ways to secure a vaccine appointment:
- You don’t need to wait until April 12 to preregister using the Oak Park Health Department vaccine pre-registration form – By preregistering, you will be notified when a COVID-19 vaccine appointment is available through the Oak Park Health Department. Community vaccine clinics are held as supply allows.
- Cook County vaccine portal – Sign up to receive information about scheduling an appointment elsewhere in Cook County and find vaccine distribution locations throughout Cook County. The portal is managed by the Cook County Health Department.
- Illinois Vaccine Locator – Find vaccination locations on a map. Get appointment information by following the listed links. New sites and pharmacies are being added daily. This map is managed by the State of Illinois.
- Your Healthcare Provider – Many healthcare providers are reaching out directly to schedule appointments with their existing patients. Visit your health system’s website for more information.
