Early Learning

Our goal is to strengthen the success of the preschool classroom experience by strengthening the success of our early childhood leaders and educators. Teachers, directors, educators and caregivers: The Collaboration’s Early Learning program service area is all about the work we do with you.

Educational Leadership

Strong programs need strong leaders. Learn more about the Family Child Care Providers’ and Directors’ Roundtables.

Classroom Quality

Supporting classroom quality by providing training and coaching to early childhood programs in Oak Park and River Forest.

Transition to Kindergarten

We are building bridges to smooth the transition for preschoolers on their way to kindergarten.

Professional Development

We provide 15 hours of professional development that counts towards maintaining educator’s certification, as well as host the early childhood Symposium every year.

Access to Preschool

We serve as the hub between parents and centers that provide free preschool. We also facilitate the Publicly Funded Preschool Committee.

Support a strong start and a bright future.

We champion high-quality early childhood care and learning experiences and support for families so all children develop their full potential.
