Valentine’s Day New Neighbor Play Date
New Neighbor Play Date
Saturday, February 14, 10:30 AM-12:30 PM, Collaboration for Early Childhood Offices, 171 S. Oak Park Ave.
Join us for a fun and welcoming networking and play event where families—especially those new to the area—can connect and play together. Best for families with children ages 0-5! This event is free and the special Valentine’s Day theme will be a focus on the Basics Principle, Maximize Love, Manage Stress. We’ll be making sensory bottles, a feelings coloring book, and sharing mindfulness activities and information. Take home new tools for Maximizing Love and Managing Stress in your household. The event is free! Families will also be able to engage with the Hemingway District’s Tokens of Love festivities.
During this event families who are looking to get to know a bit more about their community are invited to come and connect with other families with young children. There will be light snacks and refreshments. If you’ve been around a while but are looking to make new connections with local families, we welcome you to come as well. We will share resources, host a few fun icebreakers, and hang out together!
