The Collaboration for Early Childhood’s Program Service Areas
Today, with more than 70 public and private partners, the Collaboration for Early Childhood provides leadership and coordination in the four strategic areas below. If you are interested in seeing our work more holistically, take a look at our Program Services Model.

Early Learning
The quality of early learning opportunities has a profound impact on the whole child. Therefore, the Collaboration provides numerous professional development training opportunities, classroom support, and assists with the transition to kindergarten.

Health & Development
We seek to ensure all children have access to health resources, that physicians are equipped to identify children’s needs, and that children receive supports based on the results of hearing, vision, and developmental screenings.

Family Engagement
In order for all children to thrive, it’s critical to engage all families. The Collaboration focuses on parenting skills trainings, and parent leadership development so that parents and caregivers are empowered to be their child’s first teacher.

Community Engagement
We can build the capacity of local partners to benefit the community’s children through partnerships and engagement. This includes coordination of intake processes, creation of community resources, and awareness building.
Support a strong start and a bright future.
We champion high-quality early childhood care and learning experiences and support for families so all children develop their full potential.
